Judge Tells Bethenny Frankel to Stop Wearing Her Kid's Pajamas

During a hearing with a judge Bethenny Frankel attended Thursday over divvying up her money with ex-husband Jason Hoppy, said judge reportedly told Frankel “No more pajamas!” in response to an Instagram photo the former talk show host recently shared of her in her daughter’s sleep garb.

As Page Six reports:

“It’s not a joke. Her child is not a joke,” said Gesmer, adding that the episode was “ridiculous.”
She continued that Frankel — who had tried to gain sole custody of her daughter with pharmaceutical executive Jason Hoppy, but then settled after an embarrassing trial in which she called him “white trash” — used poor judgment by posting the photograph online in July.
Gesmer even said that her own concerned friends called when they heard about Frankel’s posting, in which she wrote, “This is my daughter’s night gown and PJ shorts. Think we’re ready to start sharing clothes yet?”
Gesmer reminded Frankel that the image will live on the Internet for eternity.

Frankel’s lawyer argued that she was joking, a sentiment Frankel herself echoed on The Meredith Vieira Show Friday:

The truth of the matter is, I don’t really care what people think if I don’t think I’ve done anything wrong. It was a dress of my daughter’s and she’s like, “Put this on” and one of my friends said “Your Instagram game is weak.” And I had no idea that I would get that backlash. I really had no idea and I really didn’t think it was that big of a deal. I didn’t think people were going to start being anorexic because I put my daughter’s clothes on. I just thought it was a ridiculous joke. I peed in a champagne bucket at my own wedding. The bar is very low, so why would that be such a big deal?

Please don’t remind us about the much-missed Bethenny Getting Married. I don’t think my heart can bear it.
