In response to reports that teenagers regularly break into the house where Josef Fritzl imprisoned his daughter Elisabeth for 24 years and fathered seven of her children officials have decided to tear it down. The demolition will take place behind barriers to prevent photography and the basement dungeon will be filled in. Officials hope this will prevent the house becoming a tourist attraction, and that people will start visiting the town for the local pear schnapps distillery instead.
Stories like this are always a reminder that I do kind of believe in a bad vibe hanging around a place. I don't know if I just watched 'Poltergeist' too much, but I do believe I'd be calling in a priest or spiritualist or something to give the place the once-over before it went down.
