Jessica Alba To Elle: What? Sex Sells?

Elle writer Andrew Goldman — he who got the genius "baby wipes" gem out of actor Terrence Howard earlier this year — has turned his critical pen to actress Jessica Alba, the magazine's February cover girl. Though Alba seems tame enough in her interview with Goldman (if tame also means being super bitter about not being taken seriously as an artiste because she has a hot bod), reports from her photo shoot make Alba out to be, uh, a little loopy. And probably suffering from a mild case of megalomania. [Maybe she's just unfulfilled! -Ed.] Alba told Goldman that she, Halle Berry, and Jennifer Lopez are the only women of color who can open a movie. Now wait a second, that can't be right!

Wasn't Queen Latifah in that Last Holiday movie? Or, uh, something? Also, is it fair for Jessica Alba to compare herself to Halle Berry? Because last time we checked, Berry has an Academy Award. And Alba has Good Luck Chuck. Oh and speaking of that little gem of a film, Alba told Goldman, "It's porn... It wasn't supposed to be like that."

Alba also shared the following:

I think there are ambitious girls who will do anything to be famous. Contrary to how people may feel, I've never used my sexuality. That's not part of it for me. When I'm in a meeting, I want to tell you why I'm an asset, how I'm a commodity, how I can put asses in the seats, not, 'There's a chance you're going to be able to fuck me'. That's never been my deal.

Dear Jessica: Really? Cause most of the magazines you've appeared in would seem to contradict that.

I know we're supposed to be nice, but does hair count?! I mean, that IS under her control. She looks like a lion (a foolish and non-cute one!) I'm also certain I have no interest in her opinions on race after the shit I've heard out of her mouth before.

On a completely unrelated topic, I'm worried about Moe, she's nowhere to be found today.
