South Carolina's first lady, Jenny Sanford, is urging conservative women to run for office as "women understand the conservative issues as well as any man. We run our households and our families, and we don't live beyond our means." [UPI]
Jenny Sanford seems to be the only person who understands what a conservative actually is. The "we run our households" thing is a bit strange, but I guess it probably is true for a lot of conservative leaning women. Now if only the current conservatives could learn from her that the party is fiscal responsibility, not "tax no rich people and hate everybody." I'd much rather have her view as an opposition party.
