Jennifer Lawrence Would Much Rather Watch Abby Lee Miller Yell at Preteen Girls Than Go Clubbing

Isn't it heartening to know that those semi-divine beings we fondly call "celebrities" sometimes behave with the same self-loathing abandon that we mortals do, indulging in the basest of pleasures and pretending, if only for a few hours, that they aren't so much different from the normies in the world? Of course it is, which is why it's super-important that Jennifer Lawrence — American name for Artemis — told Marie Claire South Africa that she is a total reality TV/Doritos junkie:

After it's 11, I'm like, 'Don't these kids ever get tired?' When I'm out, I think about my couch. Like, 'It would be awesome to be on it right now. I bet there's an episode of Dance Moms on. Am I missing a new episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians?' I'm just stressed by the idea of missing them.

Reality TV is my silver lining. At the end of the day there's probably nothing that makes me feel better than junk food and reality TV.

OMG J-Law!!!! Samsies, me as well — I also watch Dance Moms and eat pizza-flavored Goldfish by the milk carton. Do you feel the empathy flowing from Jennifer Lawrence to all the ordinary people in the world? I don't want to say that she's "just like us," since that would be pretty blasphemous, but sometimes it's hard to believe that celebrities aren't merely regular people who've honed a particularly well-compensated set of skills and are, by virtue of their jobs, extremely visible to the public at all times. They're, like, festering-wound visible, until one day they scab over and just fall off somewhere, like Christian Slater.
