Jason Segel Is Writing YA. Sure, Why Not?

Jason Segel has the entire world of entertainment on lock. Is there anything this dude can’t do? Acting, writing, relating to young adults via a series of not yet released books? This guy. Right?

VH1 reports:

“It’s about kids facing their biggest fears, that’s about all I can tell you,” [Segel] explained, adding we should expect a release later this year. There was no talk of title or character names, but [director Jonathan] Demme made a point to add that the forthcoming series is the subject of a “bidding war” among publishing houses vying to get him under their imprint.

What does everyone think it’s gonna be about? My money is on a stoned teen puppet’s coming of age — possibly on a critically acclaimed TV show about freaks and geeks?
