Jamaican Sprinter Shelly Ann Fraser Wins Gold, Jumps For Joy

Despite being, as one commentator called her, the youngest, the shortest and the most inexperienced in her field, twenty-one-year-old Shelly Ann Fraser of Jamaica won the gold medal in the 100 meter race on Sunday. She proceeded to bounce up and down on the track with sheer glee! In a post-race interview, Fraser, whose brace face smile is, frankly, adorable, said, "Well, honestly, most people weren't expecting me to come out here and do something… So with that in mind, it was not do or die. I didn't go out there to prove to anybody, just to myself." Not only is she incredibly fast, but incredibly charming! Seriously. Gotta love her. Clip above. @JessicaLovejoy: Y SO DYKEISH?: Oh, that is hilarious.

I can not believe how fast she is - so much for being the youngest, most inexperienced and shortest. She rocked and her countryman rocked too - so, so fast.
