J.K. Rowling Secretly Publishing Under Male Pseudonym

Latest

The author of the Harry Potter novels is using her known witchcraft to trick us muggles into not purchasing her latest book. Published under the name “Robert Galbraith”, The Cuckoo’s Calling is a detective novel about a troubled model who falls to her death — and the wily private dick who wants to get to the bottom of the mystery.

When the Sunday Times revealed Galbraith’s true identity, the book — which was released on April 18 — the book moved up 5,000 places on Amazon’s sales list — a 507,000-percent bump.

Wait, does this mean it’s better/easier to publish under a woman’s name than a man’s? First time for everything. Of course, this is after Rowling’s publishers initially told her not to go by Joanne because it might scare off little boys. Lol/sob @ everything.
