It's amazing how much more copy and how many more slogans were used in advertisements in those days. I count five: It's what's up front that counts, Winston's got it up front, Smoke Winston, Winston tastes good like a cigarette should, Finer filter for finer flavor. You'd never see that in a print ad anymore. The brand identity here is much too diffuse.
