It's probably too soon to claim any Olympic bragging rights, but after three days of competition the Chinese and American ladies are cleaning up. The Chinese women have as many medals as the men (seven), but the women have one more gold. The American women have eight medals so far, twice as many as the American men. The ladies got off to a good start in the Women's Sabre Fencing event on Saturday when Mariel Zagunis, Sada Jacobson, and Becca Ward won the gold, silver, and bronze respectively, earning the U.S. it's first three medals of the Olympics. Perhaps the American men (with a little help from Michael) will catch up over the next few days.
