The latest allegations against Silvio Berlusconi have spawned a number of protests — including one in which women will apparently throw their undergarments at his house.

According to the Telegraph, a group of women will gather at Berlusconi's mansion Sunday to throw underwear over the fence. But some Italians have already begun protesting. This creative balloon appeared at a protest this weekend in Milan's Piazza della Scala (photo by Elena Rossini).

Translations, from left to right: "We are not someone's property and we won't be at the mercy of anyone"; "Where's people's indignation at how the head of the government exploits women?"; "We don't want to be forced to pass by Arcore [where Berlusconi lives] to become politicians."

Translation: "It's not virtual. Unfortunately this is real."

This protester sports a rueful grin. Maybe she just realized the problem with throwing panties at Berlusconi's house — he'll probably be totally into it.
