Iggy Azalea’s self-imposed Twitter hiatus’ was no doubt the most awful time in many of our lives. Thank god, she’s back in the public eye, promoting her album Digital Distortion and shared an abundance of knowledge on Wednesday night’s Watch What Happens Live!
The empty hole in our heart has been refilled! Let us rejoice. For, in a segment called “Spill the Music Indus-tea,” Iggy indeed spills all the tea about several important topics. Andy Cohen first asks for her thoughts on Kanye West “going after Taylor Swift in his lyrics,” and Iggy says, “I get that it was a joke but I didn’t like it. I wasn’t here for it.”
Has she spoken to our other best friend Macklemore after he called her out in “White Privilege”?
“No, but I read his interview and he’s like, ‘I should’ve called.’ You should have and you still haven’t. So what’s up with that?” she says. “I don’t think it was intended as a diss, but at least I would’ve been prepared when the headlines came out and been like, alright I know what it is. At least I wouldn’t have been blindsided.”
Can these two white gods just make up already?
Andy then blames the press for manufacturing a beef between Iggy and Britney Spears. Iggy confirms, “We’re cool. We never had a fight,” although she’d rather see J. Lo in Vegas than Britney “because of the level of dancing that she provides.” And her relationship with T.I. is also “still good!”
We also learned that Kylie is Iggy’s “favorite Kardashian,” even though Kylie’s a Jenner. “She’s the hot car on the scene,” says Iggy.
