Ice-T and Coco Land a Talk Show, Will Scandalize Daytime TV

Ice-T and Coco are debuting a talk show this summer and it will be bonkers.

Ice & Coco will follow the usual talk-show template, with hot topics, interviews and cheesy games. But this is also Ice-T and Coco we’re talking about, so there will likely also be many refreshingly inappropriate hijinks.

The reality TV couple describe the program as “a fun show with our own style of hip, married humor and honesty.” Deadline reports:

Ice & Coco will feature actor and rapper Ice-T and his wife, Coco, as they take on the topics of the day — all things newsworthy, celeb-worthy and puppy-worthy — showcasing the couple’s honest curiosity about what’s happening in the world as well as their interview style and enthusiasm for joining in the conversation.

The show kicks off August 3 on Fox, having gone through a successful test-run (the same blueprint as Bethenny and The Real). Fox TV’s SVP of programming Frank Cicha says, “Ice-T helped change popular culture. We’re trying to do the same thing for daytime.”
