In PETA's ongoing quest to alienate as many people from their message as possible, they're now taking on ice cream. Specifically, they want Ben and Jerry's to discontinue the use of cow's milk and use - wait for it - human breast milk. PETA's rationale is that some restauranteur in Switzerland is using breast milk in his food and it's nicer to cows. Apparently no consideration is given to the lactating women who would need to be "milked" to make a single pint of Cherry Garcia, but whatevs. B&J are characteristically laid-back about it, saying, "We applaud PETA's novel approach to bringing attention to an issue, but we believe a mother's milk is best used for her child." No, PETA does not want that. they want attention so they can make fallacious, ridiculous arguments. Ben and Jerry: way to take it in a completely different direction. Awesome.
