Hindu Hypocrites: Fashion Models No Good In India; Faux-Model Liz Hurley A-OK

Let us get this straight. India is positioning itself as a go-to destination for upscale fashion designers (yesterday, WWD reported that Moschino and Escada are the latest designers to open up boutiques on the sub-Continent) but the government is banning a fashion TV channel because its programs are "against good taste"? We'd agree that skimpily-clad, underfed models do no good for anyone, but if Indian officials are so concerned with regulating tackiness in the fashion industry, maybe they should have started with Elizabeth Hurley's week-long wedding-orgy in Jodphur the other week.
