Hillary Clinton dropped her campaign theme song! And here's where the dark forces come in. See, she held a much-ballyhooed vote among her supporters as to what her campaign theme song ought to be โ€” at least, I think it was "ballyhooed," although how that word entered my lexicon is really beyond me โ€” and anyway, they chose some song alled "You and I" by Celine Dion. And after a few halfhearted months... Hillary Clinton quietly, unilaterally, dropped the song her supporters so democratically chose. Okayyy, Hillary Q. Chavez! For the record I spent 20 minutes distractedly Googling to find out whether any other campaigns had theme songs, and all I got was that Obama's might be Jackie Wilson's "(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher," which is appropriate given recent polling data, and may be behind Hillary's recent scramble to find an equally auspicious song. (Hint: she doesn't seem to be considering Barbra.)
