Here is a Gorgeous Fashion Spread Where the Clothing is Made of Food

T magazine styled a fashion shoot after Giuseppe Arcimboldo, the 16th Century Italian painter who became the focus of renewed appreciation following the Surrealists' rediscovery of his work. Who's hungry?

Elsa Schiaparelli's experiments with mingling food and fashion famously resulted in the lobster dress and the bunch-of-grapes hat. Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada are the subjects of the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute show that opens next month; these Richard Burbridge photographs are offered in homage.

Honestly, though, the fish one kinda makes me gag.
