Helena Bonham Carter to Play Liz Taylor in BBC's Inevitably Superior Version of Liz and Dick

Bonham Carter is an inspired choice for Taylor, and Burton will no doubt be perfectly played by ~~Jimmy McNulty~~ Dominic West. The movie will revolve around Liz and Dick’s 1983 Broadway revival of Noel Coward’s play Private Lives. Hot damn, those were some crazy ~~kids~~ older adults.

The movie is part of the BBC’s latest slew of dramas, which they (rather adorably) say take a “bold, adventurous, authorial approach that exports because of its Britishness not despite it.” Them’s fighting words!
