Helen Mirren Says Men Would Expose Themselves to Her on a Weekly Basis in Her 20s

Helen Mirren claims she experienced a very specific affront from men, with great regularity, in her 20s, but that she wouldn’t classify what she went through as “harassment in Hollywood” (but only because she wasn’t in Hollywood yet).

In a recent interview, Mirren told Sunday Today host Willie Geist:

“I have never experienced [sexual harassment]…in Hollywood. Because [when] I came to Hollywood, I was in my 30s. I was too old. It doesn’t happen to you unless you’re very young.”

HOWEVER.

“When I was between 16 and 23, 24—men would expose themselves to me often, I would say about once a week…on the subway, on the tube, on the bus, walking down a road and it was like, ugh…. It’s not like you’re gonna go, ‘Oh my god, that’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.’ It’s the opposite. It’s horror.”

I guess that’s kind of the point.

Another harassment allegation against James Toback has surfaced, this one involving arm pit hair.

On Wednesday night, Actress Natasha Leggero told Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live that she too had a bad experience with Toback. “This guy, James Toback, he’s a movie producer, 395 women have come forward to complain about him, he’s denied them all” she said. “So here’s 396.”

Leggero then went on to recount how after initially meeting Toback at a hotel he allegedly promised to help with her acting career and to set up another meeting, but only if she would grow out her armpit hair. She did, and it gets worse.

“I show it to him and he’s like, ‘Now I’m gonna have to pleasure myself,’ so he started to hump a tree.”

What’s up with gross Hollywood men allegedly masturbating on (against?) plants?
