Heather Locklear will not be charged with felony domestic violence following her arrest last month, in which police were called over a domestic dispute between Locklear and her boyfriend.
She does, however, face four counts of misdemeanor battery on an officer or emergency personnel, plus one misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer. According to the AP:
Sheriff’s officials said Locklear kicked, pushed and shouted at deputies who were answering a report that she had been violent with her boyfriend Feb. 26. No domestic violence charges have been filed.
Locklear apparently “became combative” when police arrived at the scene, and “struck 3 deputies” before being retrained and sent to a hospital “for evaluation.”
