Hearst is buying shopping site Kaboodle. Wasn't life easier in the era of the Caboodle? You got them free in the back of Teen magazine, stocked with Lip Smackers and astringent and other stuff Bonne Bell gave away for free back before Denise Richards discovered eyebrow wax and John Casablancas was best known for spawning a Stroke. Sigh. Those were the days. Well, actually, those days totally sucked. But shopping sure was easier! Now you apparently need websites named Kaboodle to assist you in knowing what websites to trust in advising you what to buy. Ugh. [WSJ]
