HBO Nabs Sarah Silverman Pilot About a Woman Experiencing Your Future

…Or your present, depending on how old you are and what you consider the middle of life! Multiple outlets are reporting that after passing on People in New Jersey last year, a pilot starring Sarah Silverman, TOPHER GRACE and Patti Lupone, HBO has picked up another comedy from Silverman. This one is about a “pathologically honest woman having a modern mid-life crisis.”

The untitled comedy is being directed and executive produced by Silverman. Lucy Pebble, who wrote and created my favorite guilty pleasure series, Showtime’s Secret Diaries of a Call Girl, will also EP as well as write the series. Pilot news is really the best news, isn’t it? Just a hint of something exciting to come that you’ll probably forget about until you find out it didn’t go anywhere but you never really got invested in it to begin with. Beautiful.
