Predictably, the WSJ story is rife with apologist comments. For the record, first-hand testimony is not "hearsay," as so many there seem to think it is. I guess they think you have to be raped in the middle of Times Square in broad daylight with photographic evidence to be able to be convicted of rape in this country. But I guess the real issue at work here is they can't fathom anyone taking the word of this young woman over that of this high-status male.
