Hannibal Buress Is Getting Death Threats From People About Bill Cosby

“I get a lot of messages from people about it,” Hannibal Buress told Jimmy Kimmel Wednesday night in reference to his routine about Bill Cosby’s history of sexually assaulting women. But they can be funny! (Well, funny because he is.)

“The weirdest thing about getting a death threat from a male body builder-slash-stripper on Facebook is when you click on his profile and see that you have one mutual friend,” he added. “And then having to hit your friend up and say, hey man, can you tell your buddy to stop saying he’s going to murder me?”

Buress also commented on his role at Justin Bieber’s Comedy Central Roast (“It’s a weird state of mind to be in when you have three or four weeks to just think of the foulest things you can say about somebody”), noting that it’s also “weird when you have to say something about Martha Stewart’s vagina in front of her.” Nah, that sounds fun and not at all scary.
