Gwyneth Paltrow and Greta Van Susteren are feuding, and you have to choose a side! Are you Team Gwyneth, Team Greta or Team Buying a Samurai Sword on eBay So You Can Fall on It and Never Have to Answer?

Trouble started late last week when Paltrow — a struggling actress who works hours a day for but a few million dollars, all so she can put organic quinoa in her starving children's mouths — spoke at a Democratic National Committee Fundraiser about equal pay, saying that the issue was very important to her "as a working mother."

As is often the case, Ol' Gwynnie's heart was in the right place. She was trying to empathize, but still her comments managed to come off as remarkably tone deaf. Being a working mother as a millionaire (and as the daughter of millionaires) is not the same thing as being a working mother who is in debt or trying to raise a family on minimum wage.

Smelling weakness in Paltrow's argument, Fox News' Grendel Greta Van Susteren slithered from Herot to write a blog post attacking Goop's statement:

[Paltrow] referred to herself as a 'working mother' in hosting a fundraiser in Hollywood last night for President Obama and the Democratic Party. She said equal pay is "very important to me as a working mother." Literally she is correct (she is a mother and does movies and gets paid) but she does not get it...

I don't know about you, but I do not define 'working mother' as a woman with nannies and who makes millions of dollars each year. That just is not a 'working mother' to me.

Van Susteren, attacking the liberal Hollywood elite, has all of Fox News behind her...OR DOES SHE?

Megyn Kelly, a Fox News host who has always been willing to go against the conservative grain (but only on issues that directly benefit Megyn Kelly) piped up her support, not for Greta, but for Gwyneth.

Yeah I guess I'm with Megyn Kelly on this one. As completely out of touch as Gwynyth is, why split hairs? Her hearts in the right place. I mean if it was a government funded research team it'd be six elderly men making statements about women's pay.
