I recently was invited to appraise a collection of letters that were to be sold at the estate sale of a well-known, deceased political figure . One of the letters included an account of a party in the White House that was celebrating Kissinger's negotiation for the end of the Yom Kippur War.
Let's just say that if the letter was truthful, the Oval Office should be cleansed with burning sage, holy water and a little lady lisping 'This house... is clean...'
