You know what else this makes me happy about? The fact not only do we live in an age where women are computer programmers and that's not totally crazy or out of place like it would have been then, but also that we now live in a place where poor or disadvantaged women/people can get an education and become what they'd like. (I'm not saying it's easy, but this was the woman of an aristocrat who was one of the only poets to be very famous (infamous too!) in his own times. Her work/interests may have been eccentric for the time given her gender, but it was really the fact that she was wealthy that allowed her to pursue them.
