I dare you to watch this and not want to start your own show, it’s so inspiring! Issa Rae saw a hole in TV programming that desperately needed to be stuffed with awesome, and so she went out there and made it happen. We still need about five billion more shows that feature diverse ensembles, but it’s part of the start, and it’s wonderful to have around. I just want more, more, more! I’m hella greedy when it comes to TV because a TV basically raised me and I love it like a mother. But that’s for another day.
