GMA Asks: Are There Vampires Among Us?!

In a word, no. But the folks at Good Morning America were not convinced, so they talked to Anne Rice and travelled to Prague to get to the bottom of our obsession with vampires.

We already learned on Gawker today that vampires aren’t actually terrorizing (or romancing) American high school students since Twilight was, like, just a book. But GMA points out that centuries ago people were so afraid of vampires that they dismembered dead bodies so they couldn’t rise again. Is this “proof, or at least evidence that something was going on?” We say yes! It’s just like how the Salem witch trials prove that Hogwarts really does exist. Clip at left.
