Gil Scott-Heron Dies At 62

“Godfather of rap” Gil Scott-Heron, who was famous for the song “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised”, died yesterday in a New York hospital at the age of 62.

The cause of death is currently unknown, but Scott-Heron was known to be HIV positive and also struggled with drug addiction throughout his life.
