Fox News Anchor Is Shocked When Fox News Poll Says Obama Will Win In 2012

As hard as they might try to bend the facts (or just plain make them up), sometimes even Fox News anchors must contend with the harsh reality that not everyone thinks Barack Obama is an evil socialist. But somebody forgot to tell Gretchen Carlson that, and she got the shock of a lifetime when she learned that a poll conducted by Fox News found that 44% of registered voters said that President Obama was going to win the 2012 election.

She finds this information “staggering,” and she desperately pleads, “Is anyone else stunned at this result right now?” Is she really that shocked to hear that a lot of voters assume a sitting president will win a second term, especially when both the potential GOP candidates have serious weaknesses. Or is she freaking out because she can’t accept that Fox News couldn’t somehow twist and spin these numbers into something she found more palatable? Either way, deep breaths, Gretchen. Deep breaths.
