A thief in Föhren, Germany, has spent the better part of the past year systematically robbing the townspeople of their shoes by stealing over 120 shoes from their doorsteps. The culprit has finally been caught- and she's quite a fox.

Dubbed "Imelda," due to her Marcos-sized shoe collection, the klepto fox was finally busted after her nest, complete with the missing shoes, was located by a forestry worker. 120 shoes have been recovered from her nest, though according to local count Rudolf Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt, "More shoes have gone missing in the last few days." It is believed that Imelda might be stealing the shoes in order to provide her children with chew toys, though I suspect she's been reading too much Cosmo and thinks that hot shoes and stealing might be the way to impress this fox:
