David and Victoria Beckham have begun publicizing the vocal talents of their 11-year-old son Cruz, who may or may not be the future of pop.
Earlier today, famous DILF David Beckham posted a video of Cruz singing a sweet version of “When I’m Gone” by the Carter Family (aka the cup song from Pitch Perfect) and wrote on IG: “Look at my little man go... Ridiculously cute and the enjoyment in his face whilst doing it just makes us smile.”
People notes that Cruz “Sings (and Performs!)” the song, though I’m not sure moving cups around qualifies as “performing” and no I’m not bitter about never being chosen to sing lead in my junior high school chorus.
Anyway, Victoria kicked this journey off last week by posting the below footage of Cruz singing Twista’s “Hope” with a slight adorable lisp, after which People couldn’t help but wonder: “Could Cruz Beckham be the next Justin Bieber?”
Could he? Certainly, the kid can sing and Bieber has become too old so we need another one.
