Acclaimed baby queen Ariana Grande is known for wearing a ponytail weave that thoroughly upsets lots of people. Now, the baby is revealing what’s really underneath—a friendly family of trolls.

Ariana once said she only wears the ponytail extensions to cover up damage from over-dyeing her hair. “My actual hair is so broken that it looks absolutely ratchet and absurd when I let it down,” she said.

In an impressive move, the infant posted photos of her curly, weave-less hair on Instagram and it looks just fine. The caption: “Peekaboo healthy curls. Long time no see.”

Peekaboo indeed. There’s also a video in which the baby says, “Dad made me do it.” Dad replies, “I did. Because I like your curls.” Sweet.
