This morning, in a rare, light-hearted political moment for The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck read off a joke-y children’s poem she wrote as a way to explain Osama Bin Laden’s death. Granted, using a dead person to reveal your playful side is a little weird, but whatever.

Osama Bin Laden was a very bad guy
He hurt many people, don’t ask me why
We shot him in the head and now he is dead
Now close your eyes and go to bed
