Edgy Miley Cyrus Wanted to Find a ‘Weird’ ‘Tranny Bar’ in Germany

NEWSFLASH: Miley Cyrus is weird now. She likes weird things like asymmetrical haircuts, grillz, twerking, and “jweats,” and she is an inspiration for young people everywhere to get weird. And by “get weird,” I mean throw together some hackneyed references to subcultures and groups that have struggled to exist in a society that has been built to work against them. But picking and choosing the “cool” parts of those subcultures? So in this summer.

During her visit to Berlin this weekend, Miley jokingly asked a German interviewer, “Are there any good German trannies? Are there any good German tranny bars?” Upon confusion as to what exactly she meant by “tranny bars,” Miley explained, “Tranny bars. Like guys as girls.”

She didn’t get an answer then, but Miley wasn’t going to give up just yet. She asked another weird-looking German dude (there are no shortage of these in Germany), “You look like you may know more of the cool spots than anyone else I’ve asked.” The Stefon of Germany, who sports a bro-tank and a beanie was like, “You want to go to a party?”

Miley: “We want to go somewhere weird. We want to go to a weird-ass club.”

Oh, right. A weird-ass club, like a tranny bar, right?
