E! Is Creating a Show About Snarky Web Commenters. Congrats!

Trolls rejoice. You’re about to be on television. E! is currently developing a show about Internet commenters that’s cleverly titled Comments Section, which means a producer is combing through Jezebel right now. Ahhh! Are you camera ready?

As its title suggests, the series will mine the comments section of the angry old Internet for the best and worst reader critiques. It’s executive-produced by The Soup‘s Joel McHale. Deadline reports:

The Internet is known for eliciting mean comments from people. Now they will be showcased in a potential show on E! The cable network has given a green light to Comments Section, a pilot executive produced by Joel McHale that marks the first project under the The Soup host and executive producer’s new producing deal with E!
It will star comedian Michael Kosta and focus on deconstructing the often snarky comments on popular websites.

This sounds kinda like Jimmy Kimmel’s Celebrities Read Mean Tweets. Be aware.
