Grazia called Dolce & Gabbana’s vision for Spring 2013 (shown yesterday in Milan) “Sicilian kitsch.” What does that mean? Florals, stripes, folkloric prints, stripes, burlap sacks*, stripes, beading, stripes, raffia, stripes, polka dots, stripes, sheers and stripes. And did we mention stripes? Some of the ensembles were strangely dark, stiff and heavy for spring. But there were some filmy little rompers perfect for going on vacation to a sunny isle where no one cares that you’re colorblind. Click through and judge for yourself!
