Jonathan and Ivory have been together for five years. But Jonathan wants to have kids, and Ivory really doesn't. So they have to break up, and they're telling all of their friends (and the world) by singing about it together in a music video.

I don't know Jonathan or Ivory, but their song almost made me cry. Breaking up "is a mess," as they point out, but it doesn't have to be a dramatic hatefest. Their song is matter-of-fact and earnest, but also, well, beautiful.

Here's my favorite stanza:

It is also incredibly catchy: be prepared to dance in your chair to lines like "I don't wanna have baaaabies" over and over again.
