Cory Monteith Found Dead In Hotel Room At 31

Glee‘s Cory Monteith has died in a hotel room in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The news broke around 2 AM last night, and a rep confirmed to E!: “We are so saddened to confirm that the reports on the death of Cory Monteith are accurate. We are in shock and mourning this tragic loss.”

His body was discovered after he was late to check out of the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel and cause of death is as yet unconfirmed. Monteith had been public about his struggle with drugs on and off since he was 13, and he checked himself voluntarily into rehab in April with the support of girlfriend and Glee co-star Lea Michele. He is thought to have been alone at the time of his death. Shocking and horrible.
