Congratulations to Bill Murray on His First Surprise Gender Reveal!

Florida couple Jacqueline and Michael Davis are expecting a baby.

Michael, who was playing in the Caddyshack Golf Tournament in St. Augustine, was to hit a ball which would explode in either blue or pink powder, revealing the gender of their baby.

While there, they ran into one of Michael’s icons: John Resig, the president and co-owner of the website TheChive. They asked if Resig would do the honors.

But when they got to the tee, they found Bill Murray, a celebrity, holding the club, Jacqueline told the Daytona Beach News-Journal.

“[W]hen we got to the green, we were surprised by Bill Murray standing there,” Jacqueline said.

Bill Murray, who played groundskeeper Carl Spackler in the 1980 film Caddyshack, hit the ball.

It’s a boy!!!

Everybody clapped and hugged, including Jacqueline and Michael, and Bill Murray twirled around.

“He said it was his first gender reveal,” Jacqueline said of Bill Murray.
