In response to the news that in matrilineal societies the male-female gap in math is negligible, it was suggested that girls aren’t entering STEM fields because they can’t wear cute outfits in the lab. LaComtesse says:

We just need to convince all the women-folk that they don’t need cute outfits to get noticed and find a husband in a lab: they can still get lots of attention using the tools on hand. Can we say “Shower-Station-Wet-Tee-Shirt-Contest”?!?!?!?!
