Colbert, Cyndi Lauper and Alan Cumming Adorably Sang Carols Last Night

‘Tis the season for Stephen Colbert to sing Christmas carols on his show all week! (The best season of all!) Last night, Alan Cumming and Cyndi Lauper stopped by to help Stephen with his sign-off by joining together for a beautiful and adorably sloppy version of “Let It Snow.”

There’s something so heartwarming and nostalgic about moments like this. To give you an EXCLUSIVE peek into my life, I have been watching a lot of clips from ’60s variety hours like The Judy Garland Show lately and they are just so energetic and fun! I don’t know how much that format works in 2014, but I’m always excited when people like Colbert play around with it.

And for those of you about to criticize Lauper for not knowing all the words, I offer you a preemptive “step the fuck off.” I see your true colors (and they’re the colors of a reeeeeeal jerk).
