Cobie Smulders Has Nothing to Say About Robin's Fate Yet

How I Met Your Mother star Cobie Smulders stopped by The Late Show with David Letterman to talk about her role in Captain America, which is obviously the only thing that you or anyone else who was up watching the HIMYM finale and crying their eyes out and/or screaming at their television set cares about. OBVIOUSLY.

OK, she did talk a little about the finale and also got a huge round of applause for noting that there will probably be another show/spinoff (without giving any details, of course). She told Letterman how the show’s creators planned the ending when the show started, in 2005.

“They had actually planned the ending during our pilot,” Smulders said. “They shot some scenes with the two children…who are now in their mid-20s. It’s kind of amazing that it’s been nine years, and it’s come full circle.”

Don’t look for her to answer any of your anguished cries on Twitter about who ended up with who and how and all that. Sorry, you’re going to have to take all of that up with Neil Patrick Harris, I guess.
