Chill Exes Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow Team Up on New Song

Latest

Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow remain friendly, despite their decision to “consciously uncouple” last year. (By the way, doesn’t it feel like that phrase has been around since the beginning of time?) The two exes have even paired up for a song on Coldplay’s upcoming album.

According to Vulture, the song, “Everglow,” is about “a relationship’s enduring spark.” Martin also had he and Gwyneth’s two children, Apple, 11, and Moses, 9, appear on the album, as well as his girlfriend, Annabelle Wallis, Beyoncé, and last but not least, Blue Ivy Carter. “Everyone who got asked to sing on our album has an important part in our lives,” Martin said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. “I don’t want to get too hippie, but what I’m trying to learn in my life is the value of every human.”

Remember when Goop sang “Cruisin” with Huey Lewis? Coldplay’s seventh album, A Head Full of Dreams, is out December 4.
