Rosie O'Donnell and Chelsea Handler have gotten themselves into some super-sized trouble with the little person community. The two were chatting on Rosie's show when O'Donnell confessed, "I'm a little ashamed about it [but] I have a mild fear or anxiety around little people." Handler then went on to say some pretty demeaning and horrible things about people with dwarfism, even though she says she's their biggest fan.

After confessing her own ridiculous fear of them, Rosie asked Handler, "Would you ever do a little person?" Who replied, "No, that would be child abuse. I'd never do that." O'Donnell was totally feeling her on that super classy remark, "That's half my issue. The problem with me is I can't put the two things together. This is an adult person, a little person ... it's so hard for me." It does sound hard, but, Rosie, I'm sure if you really put your mind to it you could figure it out.

Handler, on the other hand, can't get enough of dwarves: "I love little people. … I want to tackle them. I see them and I want to hold myself down. I bite Chuy [Bravo] sometimes. ... He's so cute and that's my ultimate body." She then went on a long tangent about how it's hard for little people to get jobs. They need help, she says, and she hires them out of the kindness of her heart. So, yeah, you can see why the Little People of America didn't take too kindly to the conversation. Neither lady has apologized, at least not yet. No doubt when they do, it will be delivered in a kind of baby talk accent so that those poor tiny little people can understand it. [HuffPo]

There's some positive news on the Whitney Houston front: Bobby Brown is reporting that Bobbi Kristina, his daughter with Whitney, is "doing much better," following her two trips to the hospital this past weekend because of stress brought on by her mother's death. Bobby also says he will be attending Whitney's funeral for his daughter's sake, despite speculation that her family does not want him there. Bobbi Kristina will also have the support of her godmother, CeCe Winans, who says she wants to be very involved in the 18-year-old's life. [E!, Yahoo!]

Meanwhile, plans for the funeral are coming together. The Rev. Marvin Winans, brother of CeCe, will be delivering Whitney's eulogy. And big news: Aretha Franklin and Dionne Warwick will join with Whitney's mother Cissy and perform as a kind of choir. The AP is going to be allowed to broadcast the memorial, so we will be able to get a glimpse of what is happening after all. And when it's all over, Whitney will be buried next to her father at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey. [AP, The Grio, TMZ]

Also, a pressing question for fans of Saturday Night Live: Maya Rudolph is hosting this week. Will she do her famous impression of Whitney Houston? Sources say she's considering it, but no final decision has been made. It's tricky timing and would have to be handled just right, considering Houston's funeral will occur just hours before SNL airs. Oh, Lord. It looks like Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa might be reconciling. She filed for divorce from the notorious cheater in December, but last night she showed up to watch the Lakers play the Atlanta Hawks, and after the game TMZ spotted the two kissing in the tunnel on the way to the locker room. (How very high school sounding!) Apparently some "sources" predicted that she'd go back to Kobe back when she first decided to leave, but that doesn't make it any less disappointing. She's set to get the three estates they own in Newport Beach, and all the papers have been submitted for divorce—though it won't be finalized until June, leaving them plenty of time to change their minds. • Dammit, I hadn't even heard rumors that Michele Bachmann and/or Herman Cain were going to be on Dancing with the Stars, but now that they've both denied that the rumors are true, I am suddenly disappointed. How amazing would it have been to see Michele's perma stare-smile fixed on her face as she fox-trotted around the room? And I bet Herman Cain could have really dazzled us all with his fancy footwork. Alas, the dream is dead. [HuffPo]

Holy facepalm, batman.

I realize he didn't ask for this job, but I feel like the existence of Peter Dinklage ought to unravel a lot of that discomfort. He's crazy talented, chooses roles outside the weird jester stereotype that we usually see, and is also ridiculously sexy. Smoldering, even. Just look at him! He is the best, and not "in spite of" his size!
