Casey Anthony To Be Released Next Wednesday

Casey Anthony will be a free woman on Wednesday, July 13, 2011. This morning, Judge Belvin Perry essentially threw the book at Anthony, sentencing her to one year in jail for each of the four misdemeanor counts of lying to police, ordering them to run consecutively instead of concurrently, along with a $,1000 fine for each count. The law requires any time served to be applied to the sentence, as well as time for good behavior. The calculations worked out to Anthony only having to serve an additional six days.
