Carla Bruni Won't Let The Media Publish Photos Of Her Baby

Though photos of an adorable baby certainly wouldn’t hurt French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s expected reelection campaign, First Lady Carla Bruni says we’ll never see shots of their child. She said in a TV interview:

“You don’t have a child for the gallery … I understand the media interest [but] for children it’s not possible. I will do everything to protect this infant and I’ll be absolutely rigorous. I will never show photos of this child, I will never expose this child.”

Bruni is expected to give birth in the next few months, and says she doesn’t know if the child is a girl or a boy. Luckily, as Michael Jackson’s kids showed the world, paparazzi-blocking face masks are unisex.
