Bret Michaels Wouldn't Remove Bandanna On Death Bed

Bret Michaels appeared on Oprah today to discuss the life-threatening massive subarachnoid hemorrhage he managed to survive. Although he was in critical condition in the hospital, facing death, he told Oprah why he insisted his bandanna stay on.

As evidenced in the video above, Bret is experiencing drooping on one side of his face. Although he explained that he did not have a stroke, the partial paralysis is a result of his hemorrhage, and possibly his medication, according to his reps. Bret told Oprah that he is still in recovery mode, and is still having difficulty moving his “lower extremities,” but has upped his rehab sessions to twice a day.

Also, while he was at death’s door, he wore his bandanna.
