Blind Dog Gets Seeing-Eye Cat, Because the World Is Just and Beautiful After All

Latest

Oh, hello, it’s just Terfel the blind dog out for a walk with his seeing-eye cat/best fwiend Pwditat. Oh, goodbye, it’s just me Rip-Van-Winkling until 2024 because of too many emotionz.

Eight-year-old Terfel kept bumping into things and spent most of his time stuck in his basket after being diagnosed with cataracts.
Then owner Judy Godfrey-Brown let a stray cat into her home – and was amazed by what happened next.
The puss, named Pwditat, walked up to Terfel and led him out of his basket and into the garden. She has been helping him find his way around ever since.
Retired civil servant Judy, 57, of Holyhead, North Wales, said: “I’ve never seen anything like it – most cats and dogs hate each other.
“But Pwditat immediately seemed to know that Terfel is blind.
“She uses her paws to help guide him. They are glued to each other and even sleep together now.”

Whoa, lady, I get that you want to help your dog or whatever, but you didn’t have to glue them together. I hope Pyornkrachzark* or whatever walks that dog STRAIGHT TO TERFEL PROTECTIVE SERVICES.

*I got nervous about making this joke because I thought Pwditat must be some kind of weird Welsh name (it’s like the “Kevin” of Wales!) and I didn’t want to make fun of anyone’s consonant-obsessed culture and then I realized that IT’S JUST SUPPOSED TO SPELL “PUTTITAT.” SO OKAY.
